1. About Hearthly

Hearthly is a money education provider based in George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. We offer general educational programmes, planning templates, and community resources designed to help couples build everyday money habits as they prepare for and navigate growing family life.

Hearthly does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, legal advice, or any service that requires a professional licence under Malaysian law. All content, sessions, and materials are for general educational and informational purposes only.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or enrolling in any Hearthly programme, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions
• You accept our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference
• You will use our programmes and materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or enrol in any programme.

3. Nature of Our Services

Hearthly offers the following programmes:

• Planning-Ahead Session (RM 490): A one-to-one or couples session covering general money habits, milestone mapping, and planning templates.
• Family-Planning Toolkit (RM 1,520): A downloadable and digital resource bundle including milestone planners, shared budget templates, and access to our couples' community.
• Growing-Family Programme (RM 4,250): A multi-session educational programme with group discussions, milestone planning, and a certificate of attendance.

All programmes are educational in nature. Nothing in our sessions, materials, or community constitutes financial advice, tax planning, investment guidance, or legal counsel. Participants should seek appropriately licensed professionals for advice specific to their circumstances.

4. Enrolment and Payment

4.1 Booking

Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (or a deposit where applicable) and written confirmation from Hearthly. Submitting an enquiry or contact form does not constitute a binding enrolment.

4.2 Pricing

All prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change; the price displayed at the time of booking confirmation applies.

4.3 Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the booking process. Hearthly does not store payment card details on our servers.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation by Participant

• More than 14 days before session date: Full refund minus any applicable processing fees
• 7–14 days before session date: 50% refund or credit toward a future session
• Less than 7 days before session date: No refund; a session credit may be offered at Hearthly's discretion

5.2 Cancellation by Hearthly

If Hearthly cancels a confirmed session due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

5.3 Digital Toolkit

Due to the digital nature of the Family-Planning Toolkit, refunds are not available once access has been granted. Please contact us before purchase if you have any questions.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and within Hearthly programmes — including text, templates, worksheets, planning guides, illustrations, and session materials — is the intellectual property of Hearthly or its licensors and is protected under applicable Malaysian copyright law.

Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for their own household planning purposes. You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or share materials commercially
• Publish or resell templates, worksheets, or session content
• Use Hearthly content to create derivative products or services

7. Community Standards

Participants in the Hearthly couples' community (part of the Family-Planning Toolkit and Growing-Family Programme) agree to:

• Treat all members with respect and courtesy
• Not share personal financial details of other members without consent
• Avoid commercial solicitation or promotional messages within the community
• Not post content that is offensive, misleading, or harmful

Hearthly reserves the right to remove participants from the community for conduct that violates these standards, without refund of community access fees.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Hearthly provides all programmes and materials "as is" for educational purposes only
• Hearthly does not warrant that participation in any programme will result in particular financial outcomes
• Hearthly shall not be liable for any decisions made by participants on the basis of educational content received
• Our total liability to any participant shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant programme

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems
• Transmit harmful, unlawful, or misleading content through any website feature
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or republish website content without written permission

Hearthly reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to users who violate these conditions.
